Definitions

Operative
Someone who is based on-site 100% of the time, who are solely operational and do not manage others.

Team Leader
Someone who is based on-site 100% of the time, who have operational activities but also have Team Leader responsibilities.

Supervisor
Someone who splits their time between office and site, these individuals sometimes manage more than one operational team.

Manager
Someone who is office based, who still spend some time on-site. These people usually managed Supervisors or Engineers.
